I visited my sister in Ann Arbor, MI, a few weekends ago with two girlfriends from college, Laura & Cyndy. The four of us met at Penn State and became really close – we spent countless days together at football games, tailgates, hockey games, coffee shops, study lounges, and each other’s apartments baking cookies, making homemade meals, or celebrating one of our birthdays. My sister, Danelle, is in grad school at the University of Michigan studying biomedical science, so we found a break in her schedule and planned a weekend to reunite and see her new home.
As you’ll see from the photos, the weekend consisted of eating delicious food, sipping fancy cocktails, popping in and out of local shops, and laughing together…a lot. Even though we all hadn’t been together in over two years, it felt like no time had passed when we all came together for this weekend away in Michigan. I’m thankful for these lifelong friendships and for new places to explore together.
P.S. We also did a mini headshot session in an old shed near my sister's apartment. Check out Danelle and Cyndy's albums on the 'Headshots' page to see the photos.
